I’m Karen Chappell, the photographer behind FotoAdventures

Founded in 2005, FotoAdventures was created to follow my adventures photographically, documenting my love of travel, music & motorsport. I knew that my photographic focus would most likely diversify and grow as I learnt more about myself and photography so I didn’t want to choose a name that could potentially restrict any of my future plans.

I have photographed a wide variety of people and topics, from Motorsport personalities to Politicians, landscapes to weddings, product photography for online sales, formal events, live concerts and just about anything else in between. My passion lies with live music photography and (slow) solo travelling.

Initially this blog was to showcase the work I created while I was working towards my BA in Photography, but has since developed into becoming my online “scrapbook”. This blog will include photos, videos and text relating to bands I’ve seen, venues visited, hotels or accomodations I stayed in, towns/cities/villages I’ve visited and any little gems that are worth a visit (or a miss).

Some of the photos will be available for sale on my website, either as a digital download or print. The videos are hosted on YouTube. If you’re interested in the videos; I would recommend subscribing to my YouTube channel as not all the videos will be published near the time they were recorded. For the sake of diversity, they will be scheduled throughout the year.
